Bring a good attitude, a smile, a sense of adventure, family and friends and a camera.

What should I bring?

Blueberry picking is a lot of fun but it does get hot in the field. We recommend that you bring a hat and bottled water, we do sell cold bottled water if you forget yours. We have a limited amount of wagons for you to use while picking. You are welcome to bring your own wagon as we sometimes run out.

How to store the berries?

We supply the buckets for picking and we put the blueberries in bags for you to take home, you may bring containers to take your berries home.

The berries should be refrigerated soon after picking. If you have a long trip home we recommend keeping an ice chest in the car.

When you get home you should take the berries out of the bag, keep them dry, and put them in a vented or open container in the fridge. It is best to clean when you are ready to eat.

To freeze them you can put the berries in a single layer on a cookie sheet in the freezer. Once they are frozen store in a sealed container in the freezer.

What to wear? We do have shade but it still gets hot in the field. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.
